Time Warner Cable

Time Warner Cable wanted to change their general perception to be more than just a utility company and reposition themselves as one that could offer entertainment in a variety of ways. To start, they wanted branding that could help unify their corporate and regional communications. They also needed to redesign their websites to deliver dynamic content the regional offices could easily update with new promotions and content, and be able to answer questions for their customers.

Website Proposal

We created a prototype with an animated carousel that carried through their color coding of the different utilities and provided a space that could showcase video or static content. The hexagonal shapes were an existing part of the TWC branding we used across the site as animation elements and icons. The design of this prototype went on to influence the look and feel of the rest of their TV and print communications.

WebSite Redesign

A complete overhaul of all corporate and regional sites proved to be too large of an undertaking for the brand so we created key templated pages for the corporate and regional sites so they could create more cohesive branding. In the final design, we kept the spirit of the prototype and shifted the design to a more neutral palette and used the color-coding of the different utilities as an accent.
