Benadryl
Benadryl is a brand with a lot of love and awareness since it’s what people turn to when their allergies get bad. It packs a fast-acting punch of relief but it also knocks people out. Instead of letting the sedative effects be a downfall, we reframed it as a way of allowing people to enjoy their down time. We also listened to what consumers were saying about the brand across Twitter and Facebook, were inspired by their stories, and created animated vignettes for social posts to remind them to take Benadryl when they need it most. With strong branding and messaging, these latest Facebook ads resonated with audiences with +11.5 in purchase intent and +11 in ad recall, much higher than the norm.
Children’s Benadryl
To talk about children’s allergies, we needed to change the message for parents. When their kids suffer from allergies, they often aren’t themselves and tend to act out because they don’t feel great. We translated this into social content that parent can relate to and remind them that Benadryl is here to help when their “allergy monsters” show up.
